Spading and sowing in one pass

The Fentum spading machine saves time and money by making spading and sowing in one pass possible. It is a solid and reliable machine, built with high-quality components and maintenance-free bearings. The spacious frame prevents clogging, even in heavy clay.

Why spade?

Why spade?

Spading with the Fentum spading machine improves water uptake and increases yield. The machine only works the topsoil, so organic matter is preserved and soil life is disturbed as little as possible. Spading enriches the topsoil with nutrients and prevents smearing or compaction in the layer below.

More oxygen in the soil promotes root growth and stimulates soil life. Better drainage and a richer soil lead to higher yields and better crop quality.

More information

Savings

The Fentum spading machine is economically attractive because it combines spading and sowing in one pass. This not only saves costs but also increases efficiency. The machine uses less fuel compared to traditional ploughing, harrowing and sowing.

Reliability

The Fentum spading machine is reliable in all conditions, thanks in part to high-quality components and maintenance-free bearings. It is equipped with wear-resistant cast steel spades that perform durably, even under heavy conditions.

Tillage

With its spacious frame, the Fentum spading machine prevents soil from sticking, so cleaning out by hand is a thing of the past. The machine has an effective working width of 3.0 and 3.5 metres and a variable depth setting via stepless spindles.

"We are much more efficient this way. We sometimes spade and sow nearly 15 hectares in one day — with ploughing and sowing that was unthinkable with one driver!"

— Loonbedrijf Guiljam, Sint Annaland
